We gave Seafood on Oaks & Seafood at the Beach – two Northern Beaches’ beloved fish and chip shops – a much-needed brand refresh and business re-positioning. Working with the new owners we changed Seafood on Oaks from an old school take-away into a dine-in fresh seafood café destination in the heart of Dee Why’s urban centre. This included redesigning the store into a welcoming, casual bistro and creating Cap’n Stan, our cheeky Seagull Sea Captain Mascot.
For their iconic Seafood at the Beach store overlooking Dee Why beach, we created a fresh brand look whilst respecting its long-standing positioning across the beaches as a classic Australian beachside fish & chip shop.
We relaunched both brands with fresh comms campaigns across multiple channels, led by a fun organic and paid social strategy that balanced their respected history as authentic fish mongers, with new menu and meal deals to reframe how locals thought about the stores.
The new naming structure and brand platform was designed with future expansion and franchising in mind.
After some training and guidance on creating and production approaches, the new platform allowed the team to implement their own ongoing content across social channels.
