Our Fresh Food DY client wanted to create a new Acai store on the beachfront at Dee Why and asked us to design and launch the new brand and store.

Acai was exploding across Sydney, so the challenge was to create a brand that would stand out amongst this sea of brands.

Pirate Acai landed on the Dee Why beachfront at Easter 2025. It’s irreverent, fun and different to the standard Acai offerings.

Launched with a diverse range of social content including energetic reels over the launch weekend featuring local Northern Beaches social influencers Cam & Tat.

With a limited budget the campaign achieved tremendous reach and immediately built a dedicated following on Instagram.

Brand Styling

Our color palette channels the spirit of seaside adventure and indulgence. #3B1A53 (Pirate Purple) is our anchor – bold, deep, and mysterious, it captures the richness of açaí itself and sets the tone for a brand full of energy and depth.

#A3806B (Cone Crunch) brings warmth and balance, like driftwood smoothed by the tide, a natural grounding tone that supports typography, backgrounds, and structure. #D2D9E3 (Ice Magic) adds a cool, breezy freshness, like sea spray – perfect for highlights, accents, and moments of surprise.

Together, these colors reflect the coastal vibe of Pirate Açaí: adventurous, refreshing, and a little bit cheeky, guiding every touchpoint from cup to coastline.
